Variety Club raises 1.4 Million!

Clear Image Labels were very excited this year to proudly support the local Barossa Valley Car No. 318 in this years 2006
South Australian Variety Bash.? The team headed by Doug Lehmann, MD of Peter Lehmann Wines, a dedicated Basher
of 16 years, helped raise $1.4 million for special children in need in SA.

Bashing was created in 1985 by Australian adventurer Dick Smith, when he took a group of friends for a drive that he called ?The Bourke to Bourketown Bash?.

The Bash is an eight day drive in the country with your mates. It is NOT a race or a rally, it is a madcap event designed to put the 'fun' into fundraising. Vehicles must be in standard condition and manufactured before 1970. However, the drivers and crews are anything but standard issue with most Bashers taking the one major rule (don't take it seriously) seriously.

Whilst there are various trophies awarded to encourage fundraising, fun themes, fun for the kids and overall fun, the ultimate winners of the Bash are the children.

In a stunning finale to this years event, came the announcement of a final fund raising amount of $1.4 million that is the third highest in the eighteen year history of the event.

This fantastic result is attributable to many!
